How the Medeb mobile app handles your information.
This Privacy Policy explains how the Medeb mobile application ("Medeb", "the app", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use it. Medeb is a free, ad-supported app that helps newcomers practice driving theory, build a CV, organize daily tasks, and find local community services.
By downloading or using Medeb, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

When you use Medeb you may enter information such as CV and cover-letter details (for example your name, contact details, work history, and education), job-application entries, and to-do or shopping list items. This information is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to us or to any server. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is permanently deleted.
The Local Directory feature can use your device's approximate or precise location to show community listings near you and sort them by distance. Location access is requested only when you tap the "Use my location" option, and your location is used on your device only to find nearby listings. We do not upload, store, or share your location. You can decline or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings; the app will still work, and you can browse listings by area instead.
Medeb displays ads through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain information automatically, including your device's advertising identifier (Advertising ID), IP address, general device information (such as device model, operating system, and language), and data about how ads are viewed and interacted with. This information is handled according to Google's own privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond the ones described here.
Medeb uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google may use the Advertising ID and related data to provide personalized or non-personalized ads. You can learn more about how Google uses information and your choices here:
You can reset or limit ad personalization through your device's settings (for example, "Reset advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android).
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Medeb shows a consent prompt (provided through Google's User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads are served. Your choice determines whether you see personalized or non-personalized advertising. You can change your choice later from within the app or your device settings.
Content you create in Medeb is stored locally on your device using your device's standard app storage. Because we do not operate servers that store your personal content, we cannot access it. Advertising data is retained by Google according to Google's policies.
Medeb is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to access, correct, or delete personal information and to opt out of personalized advertising. Because content you create is stored only on your device, you can exercise control directly by editing or deleting it in the app, clearing the app's data, or uninstalling the app. For advertising choices, see Sections 5 and 6 above. We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be communicated within the app. Continued use of Medeb after an update means you accept the revised policy.
